Tonico Vita

Tonico Vita dietary supplement is available in easy-to-administer capsules, which allow for effective absorption of the active nutrients. The standard pack contains 10 capsules. 

Tonico Vita D3 is available in tablets, packaged in boxes of 60 units, each containing a standardised dose of vitamin D3, intended for daily administration over the medium or long term, as required.

Tonico Vita is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin, mineral and amino acid deficiencies, acting as a general tonic. It is recommended in cases of physical and mental fatigue, chronic stress, convalescence, post-operative periods and loss of appetite. It may also be useful in digestive disorders such as functional constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic enteritis or malabsorption syndromes, where nutritional intake is compromised.

Tonico Vita D3 is indicated to support the immune, skeletal and muscular systems, particularly in cases of insufficient sun exposure, inadequate dietary intake or poor intestinal absorption of vitamin D. It is useful in liver and kidney conditions that reduce vitamin D activation, as well as in situations of increased loss, such as nephrotic syndrome or peritoneal dialysis.

For Tonico Vita, the recommended dose is 1 capsule per day, to be swallowed whole with a glass of water, preferably at the same time each day, to maintain a consistent supply of nutrients.

For Tonico Vita D3, adults should take 1 tablet daily, swallowed whole with water. The duration of treatment may vary depending on serum vitamin D levels and the doctor’s recommendations.

Tonico Vita is contraindicated in people with hypersensitivity to any of the product’s components, as well as in cases of hypervitaminosis A or D. 

Tonico Vita D3 is not recommended in cases of hypercalcaemia, hypervitaminosis D or known hypersensitivity to vitamin D3.

The use of supplements from the Tonico Vita range should be approached with caution in people with metabolic, hepatic or renal disorders, which require monitoring of fat-soluble vitamin intake. 

In the event of prolonged use, periodic assessment of vitamin and mineral status is recommended. In patients with intestinal absorption disorders, the duration of Tonico Vita D3 administration may need to be adjusted.

In general, the products are well tolerated. However, in hypersensitive patients, allergic reactions may occur, manifesting as eczema, itching or hives, digestive disturbances or sleep disturbances.

Adverse reactions are rare and are usually reversible upon discontinuation of treatment.

Tonico Vita may interact with certain medicines such as anticoagulants, antihypertensives, antacids and anticonvulsants, which may affect the absorption or metabolism of certain ingredients.

Concomitant use with other supplements containing vitamins A or D requires caution to avoid overdose. Foods rich in fat may enhance the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.

Overdose is unlikely if the recommended doses are followed. However, excessive and prolonged intake may lead to hypervitaminosis, particularly for vitamins A and D, which manifests as digestive, neurological or metabolic symptoms. 

In the event of a suspected overdose, it is recommended to stop taking the supplement and consult a doctor.

The products must be stored at temperatures below 25 °C, in their original packaging, away from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Observe the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
