Aktivait for dogs and cats is available as an oral veterinary supplement, in capsules or tablets, tailored to different species and sizes of pets. 

Tablets for dogs are available in formulations tailored to the animal’s size (Aktivait Small Breed, Aktivait Medium and Large Breed), packaged in boxes of 60 units.

Aktivait VetPlus is primarily recommended for supporting neurological function in dogs and cats, and is frequently used in the management of cognitive decline associated with the ageing process. 

Aktivait for dogs and cats is also indicated in other situations involving central nervous system impairment, including:

• neurological conditions requiring antioxidant supplementation;
• inflammatory processes in the brain;
• disorders affecting the functioning of neurons and synapses;
• metabolic support in conditions of increased oxidative stress;
• support for the mitochondrial function of neurons.

Aktivait for cats and dogs should be administered daily, in accordance with the vet’s recommendations and depending on the animal’s body weight.

The recommended doses are as follows:

• Cats: 1 capsule per day
• Dogs ≤10 kg: 1 Aktivait Small Breed tablet per day
• Dogs 10–20 kg: 1 Aktivait Large/Medium Breed tablet per day
• Dogs 20–40 kg: 2 Aktivait Large/Medium Breed tablets per day

The tablets for dogs can be given directly or mixed with their daily food to make administration easier.

Aktivait Vet Plus is generally well tolerated by dogs and cats. However, it should be administered with caution to animals showing hypersensitivity to any of the product’s components.

The supplement is intended exclusively for veterinary use, and its use in other species or for purposes other than those indicated should be avoided. Furthermore, administration to animals with severe conditions should only be carried out on the recommendation of a veterinary surgeon.

To achieve optimal benefits, Aktivait cat and dog should be administered regularly over the long term, as its effects on neurological function are cumulative. 

It is recommended to combine the supplement with a balanced diet and a suitable lifestyle for the pet, including cognitive stimulation, moderate physical activity and regular veterinary check-ups.

In most cases, Aktivait dog and cat is well tolerated by pets, and adverse reactions are rare. 

Occasionally, mild digestive disturbances may occur, such as gastrointestinal discomfort or minor changes in appetite, particularly at the start of treatment.

Aktivait can generally be administered alongside most veterinary treatments. Due to its composition based on vitamins, antioxidants and essential nutrients, the product is frequently used as an adjunctive supplement in neurological therapies.

However, for animals undergoing complex treatments, it is recommended to consult a vet to avoid excessive overlap of certain nutrients.

Data on Aktivait overdose are limited, but administering significantly higher quantities than those recommended may cause mild digestive disturbances or gastrointestinal discomfort.

In the event of accidental ingestion of a large quantity of the product, it is advisable to monitor the animal and consult a vet to assess its clinical condition.

Aktivait should be stored at temperatures between 15 and 25°C, in a dry place away from direct light. Exposure to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight may affect the stability of the active ingredients.

The product must be kept in its original packaging and stored out of reach of children and animals.
