Alinan

The Alinan range includes several products in various pharmaceutical forms, adapted to the age and needs of each child:

• Syrups (Alinan Focus, Alinan Attention and Concentration, Alinan Calming Syrup, Alinan Energy and Appetite) – easy to administer, with a pleasant taste
• Oral sachets (Alinan Easy Digestion) – precise dosage, easily dissolvable in water
• Drops (Alinan Vitamin C)
• Emulsion (Alinan Colic and Bloating)
• Oral suspension (Alinan Emetix)

Alinan products are recommended in many physiological and pathological conditions common in childhood:

• Alinan Focus is intended for children undergoing intense intellectual or physical exertion, contributing to the proper functioning of the nervous system and reducing fatigue.
• Alinan Attention and Concentration is recommended for supporting attention, concentration and emotional balance in restless or tired children.
• Alinan Easy Digestion is indicated for digestive disorders, mild food intolerances and to stimulate the absorption of essential nutrients.
• Alinan Calming Syrup is indicated for restlessness, sleep disorders or abdominal discomfort, helping to regulate intestinal transit and relieve bloating.

The dosage varies depending on the product used and the age of the child.

For example, for Alinan Focus syrup:

• Children 1–3 years: 5 ml/day (1 teaspoon)
• Children 4–10 years: 10 ml/day (2 teaspoons)
• Over 10 years: 15 ml/day (3 teaspoons)

In cases of agitation, Alinan Calming Syrup should be administered as follows:

• For children aged 4 to 6 years: 5 ml syrup twice a day;
• For children aged 7 to 12 years: 5 ml syrup three times a day.

Alinan products are generally well tolerated, but their use is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.

It is recommended that you consult your paediatrician before administering products from the Alinan range in order to receive personalised recommendations.

The products can be administered with food or drink to make them more palatable.

In general, the range is specially formulated for children aged 1 year and older, and should only be used in infants under medical supervision.

A minimum 30-day course of treatment is recommended to achieve stable and lasting effects.

Adverse reactions are rare, but isolated cases of the following may occur:

• Digestive discomfort (bloating, mild diarrhoea)
• Skin allergic reactions (rash, itching)
• Nausea or unpleasant taste

If any unusual reactions occur, it is recommended to discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Although the Alinan range is based on natural ingredients, vitamins and minerals, it is important to consider possible interactions with medicines or other supplements.

For example, magnesium may reduce the absorption of certain antibiotics (e.g. tetracyclines); it is recommended to take them separately, at least 2 hours apart.

Accidental overdose is rare but may cause gastrointestinal disorders: diarrhoea, cramps, nausea, drowsiness or agitation (depending on the product administered).

In such cases, it is recommended to stop administration and consult a doctor for evaluation.

To maintain product quality, it is recommended to store at temperatures below 25°C, away from light and moisture.

After opening, syrups should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 30 days. Keep out of reach of small children.
