Dezarcit
Description Dezarcit
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.fr team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Dezarcit is a dermatological product specially formulated to support the natural defence process of the skin and nails against fungal contamination, particularly in the context of infections caused by foot fungus (tinea pedis) and onychomycosis. This topical treatment combines the therapeutic action of the gel with mountain pine oil and panthenol with the mechanical efficiency of regular filing of the affected area using a set of disposable files included in the pack.
Forms of release
Dezarcit gel is sold as a complete treatment kit, which includes:
- 1 x 7 ml bottle of gel for topical application;
- 5 disposable nail files, specially designed to remove the affected layer of the nail.
This dual presentation allows for a complete treatment: physical removal of the affected tissue and application of a bioactive compound with antiseptic and repairing properties.
Indications for use
The product is indicated in the following situations:
- Prevention and treatment of onychomycosis (nail fungus);
- Protection of the skin and nails against fungal contamination;
- Care of unhealthy, discoloured or brittle nails;
- Nail maintenance after other antifungal treatments (as a consolidation phase).
It is important to note that Dezarcit gel can be used both in the early stages of infection and as an adjunct to systemic or topical antifungal therapies, contributing to nail regeneration.
Dosage
For optimal results, it is essential to strictly follow the instructions for use, which involve the following steps:
Hold the file by its end and start filing the affected areas of the nail with horizontal movements (left-right) until the discoloured or porous layer is removed.
- Each file should be used only once and discarded after use to avoid reinfection.
- Remove any dust residue from the nail and skin.
- Apply Dezarcit gel to the surface of the nail and finger, leaving the area exposed for 5-10 minutes to dry and absorb completely.
- It is recommended to avoid contact with water or other substances for at least 30 minutes after application to allow for complete action.
The optimal frequency is daily, and treatment should be continued until the nail has completely regained its appearance or as directed by a doctor.
Contraindications
Dezarcit gel is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Known hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients (e.g. mountain pine oil, panthenol);
- Open or infected skin lesions in the application area;
- Use in the eye area or on mucous membranes.
Special instructions
Dezarcit gel is a cosmetic product with an adjuvant action, not a medicinal antifungal. However, its integrated treatment – physical removal of the affected tissue and application of substances with antiseptic potential – contributes significantly to the prevention and control of recurrent fungal infections.
Mountain pine oil has documented antibacterial and antifungal properties, and panthenol helps to soothe the skin and restore the epidermis, being a precursor of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), which is essential for cell regeneration.
Side effects
In general, the product is well tolerated, but in rare cases, the following may occur:
- Local irritation (redness, burning sensation)
- Allergic rashes (contact dermatitis)
If persistent or severe reactions occur, it is recommended to discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Interactions with other medicines and food
No significant interactions between Dezarcit gel and other topical or systemic medicines have been reported. However, it is recommended to avoid concomitant use with other topical antifungal products unless medically indicated.
Contact with harsh soaps or alcoholic solutions immediately after application may reduce the effectiveness of the gel's absorption.
Overdose
As Dezarcit gel is a product for external use, the risk of overdose is extremely low. However, excessive use may lead to:
- Local irritation
- Excessive thinning of the nail plate in case of frequent and aggressive filing.
In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately.
Storage conditions
The product should be stored at room temperature (15–25°C), away from direct light and excessive moisture, in the original packaging, tightly closed after each use.
Keep out of the reach of children. Use before the expiry date stated on the packaging.
