Le chitosan est un polysaccharide naturel, biodégradable et biocompatible, obtenu par diacétylation de la chitine (un polysaccharide présent dans l'exosquelette de divers crustacés et insectes).
Formes de libération
Le chitosan est généralement disponible sous forme de capsules. Voici quelques exemples de gélules de chitosan :

Indications pour l'utilisation
Le chitosan peut être utilisé pour soutenir l'immunité, faciliter le transit intestinal, réguler l'acidité gastrique, réguler le taux de cholestérol, soutenir un appétit normal et réguler le métabolisme. Il existe plusieurs avantages du chitosan. Le chitosan contribue également à maintenir le taux de glucose dans le sang à un niveau normal, à détoxifier le foie et à détoxifier le système lymphatique.
Dosage et mode d'administration
Selon la concentration des gélules, chaque produit à base de chitosan peut avoir différentes indications de prise. En règle générale, il est recommandé de prendre 1 à 4 gélules par jour. Lisez attentivement la notice d'emballage pour connaître la dose journalière recommandée. Le chitosan doit être pris à une distance d'au moins 4 heures des autres médicaments, car il peut empêcher leur absorption.
Contre-indications
Il existe quelques contre-indications au chitosan. Il n'est pas recommandé en cas d'allergie à l'un des ingrédients. Il n'est pas recommandé aux personnes allergiques aux composants du chitosan, notamment en cas d'allergie connue aux crustacés.
Interactions avec d'autres médicaments et aliments
En règle générale, aucune interaction avec d'autres médicaments n'est connue. Il est cependant conseillé d'informer votre médecin de tous les traitements que vous suivez.
