Detramax
Description Detramax
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.fr team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Detramax is a dietary supplement specifically designed to maintain the health of the venous system and peripheral microcirculation. Designed with an advanced formula, the product combines micronised flavonoids (90% diosmin and 10% hesperidin) with standardised natural extracts of grape seeds (Vitis vinifera L.), butcher's broom (Ruscus aculeatus) and vitamin C to provide comprehensive support in cases of poor circulation, heavy or tired legs and increased capillary fragility.
Dosage forms
Detramax is available in the form of film-coated tablets, packaged in boxes containing 30 or 60 tablets. This pharmaceutical form ensures optimal absorption of the active ingredients and easy administration, suitable for daily use.
Detramax gel is also available to reduce the feeling of heavy and tired legs.
Indications for use
Detramax is indicated as an adjuvant in maintaining the health of the venous and lymphatic systems, with the following main benefits:
- supports normal venous circulation and venous tone;
- helps reduce the feeling of heavy, tired or swollen legs;
- relieves discomfort associated with prolonged periods of standing or sitting;
- helps protect vascular walls and reduce capillary fragility;
- provides antioxidant protection, limiting oxidative stress that affects blood vessels;
- contributes to normal collagen formation, thanks to the presence of vitamin C, thus ensuring the integrity and elasticity of the vascular wall.
The product can be used to supplement the drug treatments recommended by your doctor in cases of chronic venous insufficiency, incipient varicose veins or capillary fragility, but it does not replace the prescribed treatments.
Dosage
The recommended dose for adults is 1-2 film-coated tablets per day, taken with or immediately after a meal, preferably in the morning and evening, with a glass of water.
The duration of administration depends on individual needs and the specialist's recommendation. In the case of chronic conditions, the product can be used long-term, with periodic breaks.
It is not recommended to exceed the indicated daily dose.
Contraindications
Detramax is contraindicated in the following situations:
- known hypersensitivity to any of the product's components;
- children and adolescents under 18 years of age, as the product is intended for adults only.
Patients with coagulation disorders or severe liver disease should consult their doctor before use.
Special instructions for use
In people with severe circulatory problems, Detramax should be taken in conjunction with appropriate lifestyle and dietary measures: maintaining optimal body weight, moderate exercise, avoiding prolonged standing and exposure to excessive heat.
The beneficial effects can be enhanced by combining it with a balanced diet rich in natural flavonoids (berries, citrus fruits, green tea).
Side effects
Detramax is generally well tolerated. Adverse reactions are rare and usually mild and transient. They may include:
- mild gastrointestinal disorders (abdominal discomfort, nausea, diarrhoea);
- allergic skin reactions (rash, itching);
- very rarely, headache or dizziness.
In case of severe adverse reactions, administration should be discontinued and medical advice sought.
Interactions with other medicines and food
To date, no significant interactions between Detramax and other medicines or food have been reported.
However, as a precaution, caution is recommended when combining with oral anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents (e.g. warfarin, clopidogrel) due to the potentiation of the effect on microcirculation.
Overdose
No cases of overdose with Detramax have been reported. In case of accidental ingestion of a large amount, mild digestive disorders such as nausea or abdominal discomfort may occur.
Treatment is symptomatic, with adequate hydration and, if necessary, medical supervision.
Storage
Detramax should be stored at temperatures below 25°C, away from direct light, moisture and heat sources. Keep out of the reach and sight of small children. Use before the expiry date stated on the package.
