Memovit

Memovit Doppelherz is available in gelatin capsules, packaged in boxes of 30 pre-measured units, each providing a standardised amount of nutrients. 

This form of presentation allows for easy administration, adequate absorption of the fat-soluble ingredients and a pleasant organoleptic profile, without an intense fishy taste or smell, despite the fish oil content. The capsules are designed for oral administration and integrate perfectly into the daily diet.

Doppelherz Memovit is intended to support cognitive and mental functions and is useful in various clinical or subclinical situations, including:

• States of mental fatigue, difficulty concentrating or a decline in cognitive performance.
• Periods of intense mental stress, accompanied by irritability, reduced adaptability and exhaustion.
• Preparation for exams, when the brain needs additional nutrients to optimise memory and processing speed.
• Protection against oxidative stress, thanks to the provision of vitamin E and Omega-3 fatty acids.
• Support for mental health, thanks to the role of B-complex vitamins in neurotransmission.
• Reduction of tiredness and fatigue, thanks to the supply of niacin, B2 and B6, nutrients essential for cellular energy metabolism.

The usual dose for adults is 1 capsule per day, to be taken whole, during or immediately after meals, with a glass of water. 

In situations characterised by high cognitive demand or the need for greater neuropsychological support, the dose may be increased to 2 capsules a day, for adults only. 

The use of Doppelherz Memovit is contraindicated in the following situations:

• Allergy to soya, as the lecithin is derived from potentially allergenic plant sources.
• Allergy to fish, given the content of fish oil rich in Omega-3.
• Known hypersensitivity to any of the excipients.
• Children under the age of 12, due to a lack of clinical data on safety.

People with rare copper metabolism disorders (e.g. Wilson’s disease) should exercise caution and undergo medical supervision.

This product should not be used as a substitute for a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet. 

Memovit Aktiv does not affect the ability to drive or use machinery.

Adherence to the recommended doses ensures an adequate intake without the risk of excessive accumulation of micronutrients.

Doppelherz Aktiv Memovit is generally well tolerated, but in rare cases the following may occur:

• Gastrointestinal complaints (nausea, feeling of fullness, reflux)
• Allergic reactions, particularly in people sensitive to soya or fish
• Mild digestive disturbances
• Headache or mild restlessness 

These reactions are usually temporary and resolve spontaneously upon discontinuation of treatment.

Memovit may interact with anticoagulant medicines, as omega-3 fatty acids may slightly prolong clotting time.

Care should be taken when taking other supplements or medicines containing zinc or copper, to avoid cumulative overdose.

Alcohol, if consumed in excessive quantities, may reduce the absorption of B-complex vitamins, thereby reducing the supplement’s effectiveness.

Overdose is unlikely if the recommended doses are followed, but excessive consumption may cause nausea, digestive disturbances, paraesthesia and imbalances in trace elements (zinc and copper). In the event of accidental ingestion of a large quantity, clinical monitoring is recommended and you should contact a doctor.

Memovit must be stored at temperatures below 25 °C, in the original packaging, tightly closed, protected from light and moisture, and out of the reach of children. The product does not require special refrigeration conditions.
