Evexia

Evexia is available in several pharmaceutical forms tailored to the nutritional needs and preferences of pets:

• Evexia Fast tablets – with a high content of hemp seed oil, formulated to support joints and control inflammation.
• Evexia Plus oral solution – for dogs and cats, with a liquid formula containing the patented Mitalgol® technology, which optimises the intestinal absorption of bioactive compounds from ginger and Acmella oleracea.
• Evexia Plus tablets – recommended for dogs and cats to support joint function and naturally manage chronic pain.

Candioli Evexia is recommended as a nutritional supplement for pets suffering from degenerative joint conditions or chronic inflammatory processes affecting the musculoskeletal system. The main indications include:

• osteoarthritis and other degenerative joint conditions;
• joint stiffness and reduced mobility;
• chronic pain of inflammatory origin;
• oxidative stress associated with degenerative processes;
• supporting sensory function involved in pain perception;
• maintenance of mobility in elderly or overweight animals.

Evexia for dogs and cats is administered orally, following the recommended doses based on the animal’s body weight.

• Candioli Evexia Fast tablets: the recommended daily dose is 1 tablet for every 15 kg of body weight.
• Candioli Evexia Plus oral solution: administer 2 drops per kilogram of body weight per day; shake the bottle before use.
• Candioli Evexia Plus tablets: the daily dosage depends on the animal’s weight.

Evexia has no major contraindications when administered in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. However, the supplement should not be used in animals with a known hypersensitivity to any of the product’s ingredients, particularly the botanical extracts or hemp oil.

Furthermore, administration should be carried out with caution in animals with severe digestive disorders or intolerance to certain plant components.

Evexia is a veterinary dietary supplement and not a medicine; therefore, it should not be used as a substitute for medicinal treatments prescribed by a vet. Its role is to support the body’s physiological functions and to contribute to the natural modulation of inflammation and pain.

For animals undergoing treatment for severe joint conditions, the supplement can be integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan, alongside an appropriate diet, weight management and tailored exercise.

In general, Evexia is well tolerated by dogs and cats, thanks to its composition based on natural ingredients. Adverse effects are rare and may include:

• mild digestive disturbances, such as diarrhoea or abdominal discomfort;
• hypersensitivity reactions to certain botanical extracts;
• temporary loss of appetite.

If any unusual reactions occur, administration should be discontinued and consultation with a vet is recommended.

No significant drug interactions have been reported between Evexia and other veterinary products. However, due to its content of compounds with natural anti-inflammatory properties, monitoring is recommended when administered concurrently with anti-inflammatories or analgesics.

The supplement can be administered with the animal’s daily food without affecting nutrient absorption.

There is no data to suggest the occurrence of severe toxic reactions in the event of accidental overdose. Administration of excessive amounts may cause transient gastrointestinal disturbances, such as diarrhoea or vomiting.

If a significantly larger amount than recommended is ingested, the animal should be monitored and a veterinary surgeon consulted.
