Urosept

Urosept is available in various forms, offering flexibility according to user preference - tablets, capsules, syrup or tea.

Each Urosept tablet contains 23.31 mg proanthocyanidins, which have an antimicrobial effect on the urinary tract. The tablets are designed to dissolve slowly in the mouth, ensuring a controlled release of the active ingredients.

Urosept is indicated to support urinary tract health by:

• Prevent recurrent urinary tract infections - Thanks to its proanthocyanidin content, Urosept prevents bacteria, especially Escherichia coli, from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract, which reduces the risk of recurrent urinary tract infections. It may be used as an adjuvant to reduce the risk of recurrent infections, particularly in cases of cystitis.
• Boost immune function - The active ingredients help maintain better local immunity in the urinary tract, limiting the risk of bacterial colonization.

The recommended dose varies depending on the release form:

• Urosept tablets: dissolve one tablet in the mouth 1-3 times a day as needed
• Urosept tea: 3 cups of tea a day for adults and 1-2 cups of tea for children aged 3-12 years. Pour 1/4 L of boiling water over 1 tea bag and steep for 5-10 minutes in a covered bowl
• Capsules: the recommended dose is 1-2 capsules a day with a glass of water

Important! It is essential not to exceed the recommended dose and the product should not replace a balanced and varied diet. 

Urosept is not recommended:

• Children under 3
• People allergic to cranberry or other ingredients in the product
• People with severe kidney or liver disease without medical advice

Urosept can be used long-term for the prevention of urinary tract infections, but regular consultation with a doctor for follow-up is recommended.

Urosept can be used alongside antibiotics prescribed for urinary tract infections, providing adjuvant support.

Adequate water consumption is recommended while taking Urosept to ensure optimal elimination of bacteria in the urine.

Urosept is usually well tolerated, but some people may experience the following side effects:

• Allergic reactions - In people allergic to cranberry or other ingredients in the product, symptoms such as itching or rash may occur 
• Gastrointestinal disorders - In rare cases, bloating, abdominal cramps, or diarrhea may occur, especially if doses are higher than recommended. 

If persistent or severe side effects occur, it is recommended to discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Urosept products can interact with anticoagulant drugs such as warfarin. 

Cranberry contains compounds that can affect blood clotting, so people taking anticoagulants should use Urosept with caution and under the supervision of a doctor.

Although Urosept is a natural supplement, taking too much can lead to side effects. 

In case of overdose, gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea or abdominal discomfort may occur. Excessive use may have a laxative effect, especially with Urosept tablets containing sorbitol.

In case of severe overdose, it is advisable to contact a doctor.

To maintain the product's effectiveness, it is important that Urosept is stored correctly, in a cool, dry place, at temperatures below 25°C, away from light and moisture. 

It is recommended to keep the product in the original packaging to prevent degradation of the ingredients. Keep out of the reach of children.
