What does your medicine contain?

Sennae folium 1.5 g in an infusion bag.

When is the medicine used?

Short-term treatment of functional constipation (maximum one week), acute emptying of the bowel before diagnosis, endoscopic and X-ray examination. It can also be used for constipation caused after an X-ray examination (for example, after irrigation).

When you should not take the medicine

Intestinal obstruction, sudden abdominal events, inflammatory bowel disease, children under 10 years, women in the first 3 months of pregnancy and nursing mothers.

Adverse effects

In case of overdose and failure to follow the recommended method of use, electrolyte balance and potassium loss may be disturbed.

Dosage

Pour 1 infusion bag with 0.25 l of boiling water, leave to infuse for 15 minutes. The tea is drunk warm 1-3 times a day, preferably at night. The infusion is always prepared fresh, immediately before use. The effect appears in 8-12 hours.
