Accidental ingestion:
This product was made with alcohol precisely to avoid toxic reactions in case of accidental ingestion. Thuiona, the toxic active principle of Thuja, is contained in this alcohol (used in some countries and in internal therapy, 10-15 ml per day) in a very small amount: about 3 mg per 100 ml. This is in the conditions in which in the public opinion on December 2, 2002 by the Scientific Committee of the European Commission it is mentioned that thuion can be consumed without risk in amounts of up to 5 mg/day in certain alcoholic beverages (considered therefore food). Therefore, the risks in the case of ingesting Thuja Alcohol are not very high. However, if very large amounts of Thuja Alcohol are accidentally consumed (over 200m/day), then phenomena such as vomiting, abdominal pain, tremors, poor assimilation, marked weakness appear. In this case, intervene quickly by inducing vomiting and purging until the intoxicated person is brought to a specialized medical unit
