Photoderm Cream SPF 50+ is intended for even the most sensitive skin. Thanks to the unique SUN ACTIVE DEFENSE protection, it provides an increased effect against UVA and strengthens the natural defense against the sun. It has a very pleasant spreadable texture that does not stick and does not leave white marks or an oily film. The cream is water resistant.

What happens in your skin

All skin types react differently to sunlight, as each person has their own photosensitivity characterized by their phototype.

When the sun shines, the surface of our skin receives 2 types of UV radiation

UVB:

• It represents 5% of the UV spectrum
• It is responsible for visible manifestations such as tanning or sunburn

UVA:

• It represents 95% of the UV spectrum
• It penetrates deep into the layers of the skin
• It is responsible for invisible manifestations such as oxidative stress and reduced immune response of the skin, leading to visible manifestations such as skin aging and skin cancer.

To prevent these effects and the overloading of the skin with filters, BIODERMA created the innovative SUN ACTIVE DEFENSE protection, reinforced sun protection against UVA radiation. It combines UV filters and patented biological protection, which strengthens the skin's own defense mechanisms and thus helps maintain long-term skin health in the sun.

Instructions for use

Apply a sufficient amount of product evenly before exposure to sunlight (less amount of product reduces the amount of sun protection). To maintain protection, apply after sweating, swimming or toweling. Avoid contact with clothing. Also available in colored version. Apply to healthy skin. Excessive exposure of the skin to the sun can be harmful to health, despite the use of sunscreen.
