Use:
- Respiratory indications: Acute or chronic bronchitis. Acute asthma attack. Chronic respiratory failure - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as a supplement to classical therapy. Adjuvant to preoperative care in chronic respiratory failure. Ipeca corresponds to pathogenically severe obstructive dyspnea, expectoration is easier with a cough that causes vomiting, the tongue is clean or slightly coated. Antimonium tartaricum has thick, difficult expectoration, the tongue is slightly coated. In practice, for asthmatic attacks of dyspnoea, both drugs are supplemented and the alternation of Ipecac and Antimonium tartaricum is effective, e.g. 5 CH, 5 granules every 10-15 minutes, extend the interval to improvement. It should be noted that for all pharmacodynamic substances that experimentally induce secretions, low dilutions (5 CH) tend to promote secretion formation, while higher dilutions (9 or 15 CH) tend to suppress it.
- Skin indications: Pustular acne. Varioliform scars. Prescribe 5-9 CH, 5 granules 2 times a day
- Vagus Nerve Syndrome: Due to its effect on the vagus nerve, Antimonium tartaricum may be indicated in this syndrome of any origin whenever the patient is visibly pale. Prescribe 5 CH, 5 granules every 15 minutes, and in case of improvement, which is usually quick, we extend the interval.
- In addition to the mentioned dilutions, other dilutions can be used, but in this case the use is very individual, and the dose falls into the hands of an expert - a doctor.
