Main product description
The nutritional supplement contains activated charcoal, which helps reduce excessive flatulence after meals.
Condition of use of the claim: the claim can only be used for foods containing 1 g of activated carbon per quantified portion. In order for this claim to be made, the consumer must be informed that the beneficial effect is obtained at 1 g, which must be taken at least 30 minutes before or shortly after the meal.
(The health claim was approved by EFSA, it is part of the Corrigenda Annex to Regulation 432/2012)
Ingredients: Activated carbon, filler: sucrose, stabilizer: povidone, anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate. 1 tablet contains 300 mg of activated carbon (carbo activatus).
Mode of use
The recommended daily dose is 1 tablet once a day at least 30 minutes before a meal or 1 tablet after a meal. It is advisable to chew the tablet and drink it with water or tea before swallowing. It can also be dissolved or crushed in a small amount of water and the resulting suspension can be drunk.
Warnings: Not suitable for children under 6, pregnant and lactating women. The established recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Nutritional supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the individual components of the supplement. The nutritional supplement may reduce the absorption of drugs from the digestive tract to a possible extent. Always consult a doctor about the advisability of taking a supplement at the same time as medication.
