Curasept ADS 220 mouthwash with 0.20% chlorhexidine and 0.5% chlorobutanol deeply cleans the entire oral cavity and soothes irritations. Due to its properties, it is especially recommended for people who are susceptible to plaque deposition and who suffer from pain as a result of injury or irritation of the gums and mucous membranes in the oral cavity.
The liquid form and the combination of active ingredients: chlorhexidine and chlorobutanol allow the product to work in all interdental spaces. The liquid is perfect for people who wear orthodontic braces or who use dentures. Due to the high concentration of active ingredients, it is also suitable after oral surgery.
How does chlorhexidine work?
Chlorhexidine protects teeth and gums against plaque build-up and the harmful effects of bacteria. This ingredient binds to the oral tissue and is then gradually released, providing a long-lasting clean sensation. Adequate plaque protection helps prevent inflammation and gum disease. Chlorobutanol has a similar effect, which has antibacterial and antifungal properties and soothes irritations, bringing relief to the oral cavity. The action of both active ingredients is supported by xylitol, which inhibits the growth of bacteria and restores valuable minerals.
The ADS (Anti Discoloration System) formula used in Curasept ADS 220 mouthwash prevents discoloration and does not cause taste disturbances. This makes it better absorbed during use. The soothing formula of the liquid is also gentle on the mucous membrane.
