Diatomite, meaning diatomaceous earth or diatomaceous earth, is a fragmented sedimentary rock consisting of the shells of diatoms, i.e. the shells of single-celled microscopic organisms (so-called phytoplankton), which lived millions of years ago in fresh and salt water. The diatomite contained in the preparation is characterized by: Amorphous form, negative electric charge, use of fresh water diatoms.

Encapsulated diatomite is standardized to a high silica content of up to 93%, of which 47% is silicon.

What is diatomaceous earth?

Diatomaceous earth is a simple and ancient treasure that has recently been rediscovered by modern researchers. While not all types of diatomaceous earth can be used internally by humans, the diatomaceous earth used in supplements is completely safe to consume and is often considered a "super food." Diatomaceous earth is white or yellowish-white in color and has a soft, porous and dusty texture. Although its composition is dominated by silica, it also contains a number of other essential trace elements for health: aluminum, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium and manganese in the form of oxides.

Is it safe to consume diatomaceous earth?

Diatomite used in industry has a crystalline structure, which makes it unsuitable for consumption. Only food grade diatomaceous earth - in amorphous form - is suitable for supplementation. It passes unchanged through the digestive system and does not enter the blood.

Pregnant women, nursing women and children under 12 should not use diatomaceous earth. Care should be taken if you have lung disease or asthma and avoid prolonged inhalation of high concentrations of diatomaceous earth as it can cause respiratory irritation.

Daily serving: 3 capsules once a day. Swallow the capsules and drink plenty of water after a meal.
