This ingredient creates fluids in the intestinal lumen, which increases the density of feces and slows down excretion.
The preparation reduces the risk of dehydration caused by diarrhea and also helps restore proper water and electrolyte balance by replenishing lost electrolytes. The high degree of absorption of diosmectite contributes to the fact that the preparation interacts with the glycoproteins of the mucosa, which covers the walls of the stomach and duodenum, changing their physical properties and creating a protective gel that protects against excessive secretion of acids and against substances. affecting the digestive system.
