Dr. Brown's Preemie teat for premature babies is designed for Options+ wide neck bottles. Premature babies often have a longer journey to learn to drink from a bottle on their own. The silicone pacifier has been designed to closely resemble the shape of a woman's breast. This makes bottle feeding more natural and makes it easier for the baby to develop proper suction.
Dr Brown's Preemie pacifiers for premature babies combined with the anti-colic system of a dedicated bottle ensure pressure-free feeding. Due to this fact, the risk of painful colic is reduced to a minimum. Burping and gas after meals are also limited. The controlled flow is adapted to the needs and capabilities of premature babies, thanks to which the baby does not swallow air, but healthy food in an amount corresponding to the suction power.
