Description:
The Damask rose, the shrub with large flowers of a characteristic pink, is native to Syria but today it is mainly cultivated in Bulgaria, Morocco and Turkey for the extraction of the essential oil so precious and noble. To obtain 1 kg of essential oil, approx. 4 tons of petals. After the distillation of the essential oil, a hydrolate with an intense aroma and beneficial properties for the skin and senses also results: rose water.
The inviting fragrance as well as the remarkable anti-aging properties make rose water a must-have product in the care collection of any woman today.
