Ectifem is a medical device in the form of vaginal globules, which have been developed especially for women to support the treatment of inflammatory lesions and the regeneration of the vaginal mucosa.
Ectifem vaginal pessaries can be used to relieve vaginal dryness and discomfort associated with itching, burning and tension. They will also be useful in the case of painful sexual intercourse caused by excessive drying of the private parts. They help restore proper hydration of the vaginal mucosa in women of all ages, including those experiencing hormonal changes, including those that occur during menopause. The globules support the processes of regeneration of the vaginal mucosa and can additionally help alleviate the symptoms resulting from radiation and chemotherapy and those caused by the administration of drugs.
How do Ectifem vaginal pessaries work?
Each globule contains 2 active substances: ectoine and hyaluronic acid. After being inserted into the vagina, the globule dissolves and leaves a moisturizing layer on the surface of the mucosa, which provides protection against irritation. Ectoin and hyaluronic acid help maintain optimal hydration of the vaginal mucosa, thus contributing to the relief of the unpleasant sensation of dryness, tension, burning and itching. In addition, ectoine, a natural molecule, protects cells against the effects of harmful factors, relieves inflammation and stabilizes cell membranes.
The package contains 10 vaginal pessaries. The medical device does not require storage in the refrigerator.
