Therapeutic indications
Cimeosil scar gel is indicated for the prevention and treatment of scars, including keloid and hypertrophic ones, resulting from surgical interventions (caesarean sections, aesthetic operations, etc.) or other skin trauma (burns, abrasions, ulcers).
Description
- Cimeosil scar gel is colorless, odorless and allows the skin to aerate. If the applied surface is still wet, it is recommended to wipe off the excess with a compress. The gel dries in 10 - 15 minutes, allowing the application of blush without diminishing the Cimeosil effect. It is not necessary to cover the treated surface with any bandage. Applied in a thin layer, a 14g tube is enough to treat a scar with an area of 8 x 10 cm for 3 months.
- Cimeosil scar gel is a medical silicone that, when applied to the skin, forms a permeable, very thin, transparent membrane.
Composition - Polysiloxanes
Application instructions
Wash the affected area with water and soap for sensitive skin and dry by blotting. Apply a small amount of gel with the tip of your finger (after washing your hands) on the surface of the scar. For large scars, the progressive application of the gel is recommended. After 5 min. the excess is removed with a napkin, to avoid staining clothes or bedding. To be used twice a day, morning and evening.
