Properties:
Therapeutic indications:
- Prophylaxis and treatment of symptoms determined by qualitatively and quantitatively unbalanced nutrition.
- States of exhaustion (for example caused by stress), fatigue, weakness, decreased ability to concentrate, as well as for increasing mental tone.
- During the convalescence period and in the elderly.
- Physical effort, alcohol abuse, smokers, gastrointestinal disorders.
- Diseases that decrease the body's defense capacity.
Composition:
A soft capsule contains:
- Ginseng extract 40 mg
- Vitamin A (palmitate) 4000 IU
- Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 400 IU
- Vitamin E (DL-á-tocopherol acetate) 10 mg
- Vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate) 2 mg
- Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) 2 mg
- Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) 1 mg
- Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 1 ig
- Folic acid 400 ig
- Calcium pantothenate 10 mg
- Nicotinamide 15 mg
- Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 60 mg
- Inositol 20 mg
- Choline bitartrate 20 mg
- Copper (from copper sulfate) 1 mg
- Zinc (from zinc sulfate) 1 mg
- Manganese (from manganese sulfate) 1 mg
- Magnesium (from magnesium sulfate) 10 mg
- Potassium (from potassium sulfate) 5 mg
- Iron (from ferrous fumarate) 10 mg
- Calcium (from calcium acid phosphate) 92 mg
- Phosphorus (from calcium acid phosphate) 71 mg
- Excipients: capsule content: soybean oil, beeswax, hydrogenated soybean oil (type I), hydrogenated soybean oil (type II), soybean lecithin 45%, ethyl vanillin; capsule: gelatin, anhydrisorb, 85% glycerol, sodium ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, n-propyl sodium p-hydroxybenzoate, black iron oxide (E172).
Administration method:
The recommended dose is 1-2 capsules per day.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medicine.
- Hypervitaminosis A and D.
- Renal insufficiency.
- Treatment with retinoids.
- GINSAVIT is not administered in case of hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, hyperkalemia, hyperphosphatemia, Addison's disease, Wilson's disease and urolithiasis infections.
- Like other drugs containing iron, GINSAVIT should not be administered to patients with hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis or hemolytic anemia.
- For people with peanut and soy allergy (due to the soy content).
Interactions:
- The simultaneous administration of ginseng with products containing caffeine increases the probability of adverse reactions.
- GINSENG can potentiate the action of central nervous system drugs. It accentuates the side effects of monoamine oxidase inhibitors such as headache, tremors and mania.
- GINSENG has a slight antiplatelet effect and can potentiate the action of warfarin.
- Pyridoxine can decrease the plasma concentration of levodopa and phenytoin.
- Colchicine, para-aminosalicylic acid and the ingestion of ethyl alcohol for more than 2 weeks cause malabsorption of vitamin B12.
- Mineral oils can decrease the gastrointestinal absorption of vitamins A and D.
- Vitamin D can increase the risk of hypermagnesemia in dialysis patients who use antacids containing magnesium.
- Cholestyramine can decrease the intestinal absorption of vitamin D.
- Hypercalcemia induced by thiazides can be amplified by calcium supplementation.
- Calcium salts decrease the bioavailability of atenolol, norfloxacin and tetracycline and may decrease the effects of verapamil.
- The absorption of iron can be decreased by simultaneous administration with tetracyclines, antacids or cimetidine; absorption can be increased by the simultaneous administration of vitamin C in higher doses (200 mg).
- Iron salts decrease the absorption of levodopa, methyldopa, penicillamine, quinolones and tetracycline, as well as the effectiveness of L-thyroxine.
