The Contour Plus Elite glucometer is intended to be used to measure blood sugar in patients suffering from diabetes and whether or not they are treated with insulin, as an aid offered to patients and professionals in the medical field to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes control.

It can also be used in the case of self-testing performed by people suffering from diabetes and by medical professionals, with samples of venous blood and fresh capillary whole blood collected from the fingertip or the palm.

Way of ussage:

- The Contour Diabetes application automatically displays the results of blood glucose measurements, saves notes in "My Measurements", shows trends and test results compared to personal target intervals, offers quick and valuable suggestions to help you better manage your diabetes.

- When the Contour Plus Elite glucometer is connected to the Contour Diabetes application, the user can set or change a mass indicator in the "Glucometer Journal" in the application.

- The application will always synchronize with the latest Target Interval from the application or from the glucometer.

- The date and time in the application are synchronized with the glucometer.

- The user can manage the configuration of the glucometer from the application, such as "sound" or "table indicators".

Warnings: The Contour Plus Elite Blood Glucose Monitoring System should not be used to diagnose or screen for diabetes and should not be used in newborns. Testing from alternative places (palm) should only be performed during periods of rest (when blood sugar does not fluctuate rapidly).
