Description
Glycine (powder 300 g) Kenay
dietary supplement
Glycine is one of the 20 basic amino acids that are the building blocks of proteins in living organisms. It is the simplest amino acid because it has the lowest molecular weight of all amino acids. Its chemical structure contains only one carbon atom (C), two hydrogen atoms (H), one amine bond (NH2) and one carboxyl bond (COOH).
Glycine is the building block of proteins in the human body.
In the brain, it acts as a neurotransmitter that transmits signals between nerve cells. It is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, meaning it inhibits neuronal activity, reducing nerve stimulation. Glycine is a component of proteins and peptides that are needed to build and repair tissues in the body.
