Anyone with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) has persistent bowel problems that are not caused by chronic bowel disease or infection. It is a functional disorder of our intestinal tract, which reacts to individual life circumstances such as stress or worries, a disturbed intestinal flora, hypersensitivity of the intestinal mucosa or a hereditary predisposition with a wide range of symptoms. The most common symptoms are cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas and diarrhea or constipation.

• aloe vera (Aloe vera L, juice gel) 200:1 dry extract - Creates a protective film on the mucous membrane. Rich in polysaccharides with strong antioxidant activity.
• elder mallow extract (Althaea officinalis L) - Creates a bioadhesive layer in the epithelial tissue. With emollient and soothing properties, rich in polysaccharides.
• chamomile extract (Matricaria chamomilla L) - Soothing and antispasmodic action. Rich in flavonoids, it has soothing and antioxidant properties.

How does Doppelherz aktiv Iritacolin work?

Due to its mechanical protective action, Doppelherz aktiv Iritacolin physically interacts with the intestinal mucosa: it forms a mucoadhesive film that protects the mucosa from contact with irritants, while helping to prevent the absorption of dangerous substances. Thanks to a physical mechanism, intestinal gases are absorbed and the typical symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome are reduced.

What is zeolite?

Adsorption of intestinal gases and elimination of toxins, thanks to its porous structure.

It has a detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect on the intestine.

Zeolite is a finely ground natural mineral from volcanic rock with countless tiny pores. It is non-digestible and therefore passes through the gastrointestinal tract unaffected. Like a sponge, zeolite can bind pollutants to itself or absorb intestinal gases and naturally excrete them through the stool.
