Description
Pure anhydrous lanolin (M - 1199), 40 g, Mayam
It has a strong emollient action, reduces water loss from the skin, promotes skin absorption of active substances, protects and repairs dry, scaly or damaged skin. A classic ingredient used in various pharmaceutical preparations, ointments and salves.Raw lanolin is anhydrous (does not contain water) and is obtained by processing sheep's wool. It is secreted by the sebaceous glands in the sheep's skin and is present on the wool threads. Lanolin is incorporated into various cosmetic and dermatological formulas, being found in various products and preparations for external use. Lanolin-based creams are highly moisturizing and easily absorbed by the skin, lanolin being a classic ingredient renowned for its moisturizing and protective properties.
In medicinal ointments, lanolin can easily fix and introduce different phytotherapeutic or pharmaceutical extracts into the skin, in cosmetic ointments it favors the deep transport of active ingredients into the skin.
Lanolin is very easily absorbed into the skin and studies show that lanolin fractions rich in ceramides have an emollient action and reduce transepidermal water loss, especially in situations of chemical damage to the stratum corneum of the skin.
Lanolin is used to formulate various cosmetic compositions: creams, balms, ointments, salves.
