Medicomp ® non-sterile pads are made of 4-layer, highly absorbent non-woven fabric. Non-woven pads are particularly useful for outpatient and inpatient procedures and in home care. They can be used for washing wounds and minor wounds, cleaning the skin and applying creams and ointments.
What are the properties of Medicomp ® 5 cm x 5 cm compresses?
The material from which Medicomp ® Hartmann ® compresses are made is very soft and skin-friendly. This makes them especially suitable for patients with sensitive skin, the elderly and children.
Breathable, non-sterile dressings allow air to pass through without disrupting the skin's natural functions. In addition, non-woven compresses do not delaminate and do not leave fragments on the skin, which ensures comfort during use. They do not contain binding agents or optical brighteners, and the non-woven material is purely mechanically bonded.
