Medicomp ® Extra sterile compresses are intended for dressing wounds and minor injuries, cleaning the skin and eyes during outpatient and inpatient procedures and in home care. They provide adequate protection against bacteria.
What are Medicomp ® Extra 10 cm x 10 cm compresses made of?
Medicomp ® Extra Hartmann ® compresses have been enriched with two additional layers for greater absorption. They are very soft and allow air to pass through, ensuring proper wound healing. Each pad was made of silk and polyester fibers and then sealed in a separate package to maintain sterility. 6 layers of dressing ensure adequate protection against microorganisms and moisture. The breathable material allows air to pass through without disrupting the skin's natural functions.
The tablets do not contain binding agents or optical brighteners. The non-woven material is bonded purely mechanically. Medicomp ® Extra can be cut freely. Compresses do not crumble and do not have loose threads.
Compresses are skin-friendly – recommended for outpatient care and home care, especially for patients with sensitive skin, including the elderly and children.
It is a medical device that is suitable for both home medicine offices and professional treatment rooms and medical laboratories. Medicomp ® Extra can be used as a secondary dressing, for example with ointment and gel dressings. The package contains 50 pieces of compresses with 6 layers with a weight of 30 g/m 2 .
