Nutrilon Nutriton special is intended for controlled dietary nutrition for the following problems:

Not only in breast milk

In case of the simultaneous occurrence of salivation and other specific nutritional needs in non-breastfed babies, Nutriton can be mixed with other special milks - e.g. Nutrilon. However, consult your pediatrician first.

Composition:

Maltodextrin, carob (carob flour), calcium carbonate, iron sulfate, zinc sulfate.

Preparation instructions:

There are 2 basic ways to use Nutriton in drooling babies. Either as part of expressed breast milk or for separate administration before and during breastfeeding. The following quantitative recommendations can be adapted to individual requirements (reduced).

Nutriton administered in expressed breast milk

Add 1 tablespoon of Nutriton shavings for every 100 ml of breast milk warmed to body temperature. Mix well, leave for 7 minutes until the Nutriton milk thickens. Mix again and use immediately. A bottle's teat will need a larger opening compared to non-condensed milk.

Nutriton administered alone in gel form

If you cannot or do not want to use the method of adding Nutriton directly to breast milk, you can give it to the baby separately, with small spoonfuls, before and during breastfeeding. Dissolve 1 grated spoon of Nutriton in 25 ml of boiled water for children, cooled to body temperature. Mix well and allow the Nutriton to thicken for a maximum of 7 minutes. Mix again and serve immediately. A child's natural reflex is to expel the spoon from the mouth. Therefore, we recommend that you place the spoon on the tip of your tongue and press gently to swallow the gel. Throw away unused Nutriton gel immediately.

Important note:

Nutriton should be used under the supervision of a doctor. It is important for the health of infants that the preparation instructions and listed recommendations are strictly followed. Nutriton is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Nutrilon Nutriton should not be used by premature babies.
