Product Description:

ORSALIT is food with a special medical purpose, for food management in cases of dehydration, especially during diarrhea or vomiting, and in situations where there is a risk of dehydration. ORSALIT replenishes fluids and minerals in case of water and electrolyte disorders.

Recommended dose:

The dose depends on the degree of dehydration and the doctor's recommendations.

Instructions for use:

It is usually recommended to administer 50-100 ml of oral rehydration solution per kg of body weight in the first 4 hours and a further 5-10 ml per kg of body weight after each diarrheal stool or vomiting. In the next step of rehydration, it is recommended to take 5-10 ml of oral rehydration liquid per kg of body weight after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.

Contraindications:

It should not be used in people allergic to any of the ingredients of the preparation, intestinal obstruction or severe dehydration requiring intravenous irrigation. The product can be consumed by diabetics, but it is necessary to control the blood sugar level (according to the doctor's recommendations). In case of comorbidities, please consult your doctor for information on the correct use of the product.
