Properties:
- it is used in case of sprains, dislocations, after consolidated fractures, inflammatory processes, lateral instability of the knee joint;
- indicated both as orthopedic and postoperative treatment;
- sleeve-type orthosis, made of textile material;
- it has 2 spring-type metal splints, one on each side;
- it has 2 fixing strips, equipped with ladders;
- patellar support;
- the orthosis is a support for the knee joint, the 2 spring-type metal splints, one for each side, ensuring stability and safety in use;
- due to its tubular, sleeve-type shape, it is not recommended to be used in the case of a knee with edema and major swelling.
Way of ussage:
The orthosis is put on the leg so that the patellar support surrounds the patella and the lateral splints are parallel to the median axis of the leg.
The 2 straps with scales go through the buckles and are adjusted to the optimal level of compression.
