It is suitable for supporting different types of dressings and compresses , especially on the joints or the head. Also recommended for supporting catheter cannulas or stiffening splints.
What are the properties of the Peha-haft ® elastic band?
The self-fixing bandage Peha-haft ® Hartmann ® is extremely effective flexible , thanks to which it holds well the dressings on the rounded parts of the body. It was made of cotton, viscose and polyamide. It has a specially developed structure, thanks to which the subsequent layers attach to each other and do not stick to the skin, hair or clothes. In addition, the individual coils do not wrinkle, loosen or slip , so you do not need to use additional ties or secure them in the form of fasteners . Moreover, only a few turns are enough to hold the dressing firmly and permanently, which makes the bandage economical to use.
The Peta-haft ® dressing with self-attachment does not cause excessive pressure and does not restrict blood circulation or joint movements, so its use is safe. It is a hypoallergenic product without latex. It allows air to pass perfectly and prevents overheating or chafing of the skin.
