• Wash in washing gel or soap nut powder or in soap nuts, set the washing temperature to at least 40 ° C, if the towels are more dirty or greasy, increase the temperature to 60 ° C
• In principle, we do not use conditioner, which limits the absorption of the fibers
• In the final rinse solution, we add laundry rinse, which washes away detergent residues and dirt and thus keeps the towels functional and highly absorbent.

For stains

Treat individual spots with bile soap or olive soap with lemon extract.

More pollution

We soak the towels in water before washing and add Puer cleanser, which makes the washing process much easier.

Why bamboo and cotton instead of microfiber?

Classic microfibre towels are great - they wash well and therefore reduce the use of cleaning agents and are well maintained. This is why they are also popular with eco-conscious consumers. So what do we see as the problem? On the one hand, classic microfiber cloths are made from man-made fiber (derived from petroleum), which is non-degradable. After you throw in the towel, it stays in its original state for a very long time. In addition, studies have recently begun to appear on how microfibers in textiles (especially polyester, which is what most towels are made of) are released into the water during washing. Scientists then find them not only in the water and on the coast, but also in marine animals.
