Strataderm is a clear, quick-drying, non-sticky silicone gel formulation for the treatment of both old and new scars.
Strataderm is used to soften and flatten scars, relieve itching and discomfort, and reduce redness and discoloration associated with scars. Strataderm has been developed for use on all types of scars, including those resulting from:
- general and cosmetic surgery;
- traumas;
- chronic wounds;
- burns;
- bites;
- acne;
- and other skin conditions.
Way of ussage:
Make sure the scar is clean and dry.
Apply a very thin layer of Strataderm to the scar and allow to dry. If applied correctly, Strataderm should dry in 3–4 minutes. Strataderm is recommended as a minimum 60-90 day treatment (24 hours a day/ 7 days a week). Large or older scars may require a longer period of time.
How much Strataderm do I need?
- Strataderm 5 g is sufficient to treat a linear scar of 2–3 cm for over 90 days.
- Strataderm 10 g is sufficient to treat a linear scar of 5–7 cm for over 90 days.
- Strataderm 20 g is sufficient to treat a linear scar of 10–14 cm for over 90 days.
- Strataderm 50 g is enough to treat an area of 6×12 cm for over 90 days.
Ingredients:
Polydimethylsiloxanes, Siloxanes, Alkylmethyl Silicones
Precautions:
- For external use only.
- Strataderm should not be applied to third degree burns or open wounds.
- Strataderm must not be put in contact with mucous membranes or eyes.
- Strataderm should not be applied over other skin treatments without your doctor's advice.
