Lutein is an important antioxidant for vision, helping to improve blood circulation in the eyes and protecting them from excess UV radiation. In the body, the largest amount of lutein accumulates in the macula (the structural element of the eye responsible for distinguishing colors and image clarity). Lutein deficiency can affect the function of the macula. Vedicin®MAX contains a significant amount of lutein, 24 mg in a single tablet. Due to its strong antioxidant effect, lutein slows down the progression of degenerative eye diseases and opacification of the lens. In addition, it contains vitamins and minerals with the role of neutralizing the effects of free radicals and which ensure eye health and improve night vision: vitamin B2, vitamin A and zinc.
