Description
Virde hemp ointment (150 ml) was created for dry and flaky skin. The preparation has a regenerative effect on the skin tissue and eliminates the symptoms of dry and flaky skin.
The most important ingredient of the ointment is hemp oil, obtained by pressing hemp seeds (Cannabis Sativa). It creates an occlusive layer on the skin that prevents excessive evaporation of water, maintaining the optimal level of hydration and smoothing the epidermis (this is an indirect moisturizing effect). This layer protects the skin against harmful environmental factors and also affects the regeneration of the hydrolipidic layer of the skin. The oil also contains saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, including: alpha linolenic acid, gamma linolenic acid, linoleic acid and oleic acid. Some of them participate in the synthesis of cement intercellular components. Due to its rich structure, hemp oil smooths and softens the skin and also helps to regenerate dry and flaky skin.
The ointment was also enriched with vitamin E in the form of ester - tocopheryl acetate. Vitamin E has an antioxidant effect, which means that it inhibits the radical oxidation of lipids in the epidermis and dermis. Strengthens the epidermal barrier, supporting the regeneration of cell membranes and the intercellular cement of the stratum corneum.
