Description
Vitrum ® D3 Strong is a food supplement in capsules designed to supplement the diet of adults over 75 years of age. Each capsule contains 4000 IU of vitamin D in the form of cholecalciferol and is the recommended daily dose. The kit contains two packs of 60 easy-to-swallow softgels and allows for 4 months of supplementation for one person as recommended.
The action of vitamin D:
- Helps maintain healthy teeth.
- It helps in the proper absorption/utilization of phosphorus and the maintenance of proper calcium levels in the blood.
- It helps the proper functioning of the muscles.
- It helps the proper functioning of the immune system.
- It takes part in the process of cell division.
- Helps reduce the risk of falls associated with postural instability and muscle weakness. Falls are a risk factor for bone fractures in men and women age 60 and older. The beneficial effect occurs when 20 μg of vitamin D from all sources is consumed daily.
