Starazolin

Starazolin products are available as eye drops, in 5 or 10 ml vials, designed to cover a variety of ophthalmic needs.

The products are designed to treat a number of symptoms, such as dry and irritated eyes, allergic conjunctivitis, redness and irritation or dry eyes.

Starazolin products are indicated for:

• Dry eye syndrome: Starazolin HydroForte provides long-lasting moisturization, relieving eye discomfort caused by excessive evaporation or tear deficiency
• Unfavorable environmental conditions: use when exposed to air conditioning, artificial lighting, wind or dust
• Computer work: Starazolin formulas are useful for people who spend long periods in front of screens
• Seasonal or permanent allergies: Starazolin Allergy is effective for reducing eye allergy symptoms
• Wearing contact lenses: Starazolin is compatible with contact lens wear and is recommended before or after contact lens wear
• Use after surgery: Starazolin HydroForte is suitable to relieve postoperative eye discomfort

The recommended dose varies depending on the product:

• Starazolin HydroForte: 1-2 drops applied several times a day as needed
• Starazolin Allergy and redFREE: 1-2 drops in the affected eye 2-3 times a day

For long-term use, consult an ophthalmologist to determine the optimal dose and avoid possible side effects.

Starazolin is contraindicated if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients: tetrizoline hydrochloride, sodium hyaluronate, chamomile extract or other ingredients.

Starazolin is also not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical advice.

Do not use Starazolin if you have bacterial eye infections or closed-angle glaucoma, as it may make them worse. In these situations, seek the advice of a doctor for personalized recommendations.

Important! Avoid touching the applicator to other surfaces and only use each bottle for one person to prevent contamination.

If you wear lenses, it is recommended to apply the drops 15 minutes before or after lens removal.

Starazolin is generally well tolerated, but some side effects may occur:

• Mild eye irritation: may include temporary burning or discomfort
• Blurred vision: especially with Starazolin HydroForte, temporary blurring of vision may occur due to the high viscosity of the solution
• Allergic reactions: redness, itching or eye inflammation.

If persistent or severe symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Although Starazolin has no known major interactions, there are some important recommendations.

If using multiple eye drops, leave a 15-minute interval between applications to avoid dilution.

Consult your doctor if you are being treated for other eye conditions such as glaucoma, eye infections or conjunctivitis.

Starazolin overdose is unlikely, but over-application may cause temporary discomfort or irritation. In case of accidental overdose, or if symptoms worsen, it is recommended to wash the eyes with clean water and consult a specialist.

Starazolin products should be stored away from excessive heat and direct sunlight, in the original packaging to prevent contamination and in places inaccessible to children.
