Rinodep

Rinodep is available as a nasal spray solution in a 30 ml bottle with a spray nozzle for local intranasal application. The packaging ensures practical, hygienic use and precise dosing. The formula is designed for daily use, safely and without a prescription.

Rinodep is indicated for:

• Allergic rhinitis (including seasonal or persistent forms) and non-allergic rhinitis
• Rhinosinusitis and sinusitis;
• Downward syndrome (spread of infection or inflammation from the nose to the throat or lower respiratory tract);
• Prevention of bacterial complications of nasal infections;
• Daily cleansing and moisturizing of the nasal mucosa, especially in the context of pollution, dust, or exposure to allergens.

As a safe product, free of alcohol, propellants, or allergens, Rinodep can also be used by children from 2 years of age under medical supervision.

The recommended dosage is:

• For adults and children over 6 years of age: 1-2 sprays in each nostril, 3 times a day;
• For children between 2 and 6 years of age: 1 spray in each nostril, 1-2 times a day;

The duration of treatment may vary depending on the evolution of symptoms, but should not exceed 30 consecutive days.

The use of Rinodep spray is contraindicated in the following cases:

• Known hypersensitivity to any of the product's components;
• Children under 2 years of age, without medical advice;

Extra caution is required during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in which cases use should only be decided in consultation with the treating physician.

When using for the first time, press the spray nozzle several times until a steady spray is obtained. If the product has not been used for a while, repeat the procedure. Wash your hands before use and use the product for personal use only.

• Shake the bottle and remove the cap.
• For adults, tilt your head back slightly and insert the tip into the nostril, blocking the other nostril. For children, bring the sprayer close to the nostril without inserting it completely.
• Press firmly on the valves and inhale deeply with your mouth closed.
• Raise your head, wipe off any excess and repeat for the other nostril.
• Replace the cap after use.

According to available data, no significant adverse effects have been reported with the correct use of the product. However, as with any local medical device, mild local reactions (irritation, nasal dryness, burning sensation) may occur in rare cases or in situations of individual sensitivity.

Prolonged use of products intended for local application may lead to the development of sensitivity reactions; if these occur, it is recommended to discontinue treatment and consult a physician.

No interactions between Rinodep and other locally or systemically administered medicines have been identified. Due to its local use and natural composition, the risk of interactions is minimal.

It can be used concomitantly with other antiallergic treatments (antihistamines, corticosteroids) on the advice of a doctor.

There are no reports of overdose with Rinodep. As it is a product intended for local application with no systemic action, the risk of overdose is negligible. However, excessive or inappropriate use may lead to local irritation or a feeling of dryness, in which case administration should be temporarily discontinued.

The product should be stored in a dry place, away from sources of heat or direct light, at temperatures below 25°C. Once opened, the spray should be used within 2 months. The bottle should be kept tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
