Vividrin is an innovative ophthalmologic product designed to treat and prevent the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. Based on an advanced combination of hyaluronic acid and Ectoin®, Vividrin provides protection and comfort to irritated eyes.
With a preservative-free formula and features tailored to the needs of patients with sensitive eyes, the product helps maintain eye health and reduce discomfort caused by allergic factors such as pollen, dust mites or pet dander.
Delivery forms
Vividrin is available as eye drops in an easy and hygienic pump bottle containing 10 ml of isotonic solution.
It is also available as Vividrin nasal spray for the treatment, regeneration and prevention of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever). Vividrin nasal spray for hay fever protects against the harmful influences of allergens and reduces inflammation of the nasal mucosa.
Indications for use
Vividrin antiallergic eye drops is indicated for:
- Treatment and prevention of seasonal as well as year-round allergic conjunctivitis
- Soothing irritated, red, itchy or excessively watery eyes
- Stabilizes the natural tear film, protecting the eyes from the harmful influences of allergens.
Vividrin contains Ectoin® - a natural cell-protective molecule with anti-inflammatory and membrane-stabilizing properties, as well as hyaluronic acid - a natural molecule that soothes the eye due to its high water-binding capacity and stabilizing properties.
Dosage regimen
Vividrin use involves the following instructions:
- Administer 1-2 drops in each eye as often as needed.
- The product can be used daily without a time limit.
- It is recommended to keep an interval of at least 15 minutes between the application of Vividrin and the use of other ophthalmologic products.
Contraindications
Vividrin is not indicated in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.
The use of vials with damaged packaging or expired solutions, which may affect the effectiveness of the product, is not indicated.
Particulars of use
The vial is designed for hygienic use, preventing contamination of the solution.
Important! Avoid direct contact of the applicator with the surface of the eyes or skin to maintain product sterility.
Side effects
Vividrin has an excellent tolerability profile due to the absence of preservatives. However, they may occasionally occur:
- Mild burning sensation or irritation on application
- Rare allergic reactions such as redness or severe itching.
If persistent side effects occur, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Interactions with other medicines and food
To date, no significant interactions of Vividrin with other medicines or foods have been reported. However, a 15-minute interval between the application of other ophthalmic solutions is recommended to avoid possible interference.
Overdose
Excessive use of Vividrin is not associated with toxic effects or overdose.
However, excessive use may result in temporary discomfort or excessive tearing.
Storage conditions
The product should be stored at 2 to 25 °C. After opening the bottle, the solution may be used for 6 months. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
