Pantoten

Pantoten is available as a fructose-enriched solution packaged in a 100 ml vial.

The solution is easy to administer, suitable for both children and adults and comes with accessories for precise dosing: syringe for oral use or dosing measure.

Pantoten solution is recommended in many situations involving central nervous system dysfunction or the need to improve cognitive and emotional functions. Its indications include:

• Reducing excessive neuronal excitability and preventing consequences such as seizures or tics
• Improving ADHD symptoms, including hyperactivity and attention deficit
• Improving psycho-emotional state, reducing stress, anxiety, depression and phobias
• Inducing calm and promoting sleep, helping overall relaxation
• Boost cognitive functions such as memory, attention and concentration
• Increasing the brain's resistance to hypoxia and toxic substances.
• Reducing the consequences of cranio-cerebral trauma and restoring damaged muscle mass.

Pantoten fructose solution should be administered 15-30 minutes after a meal. The dose should be measured with an oral syringe or dosing measure and accessories should be sanitized before and after each use.

• For children under 4 years of age, the product may only be administered on the advice of a doctor.
• Children between 4 and 6 years of age are given 2.5 ml solution three times a day and children between 7 and 17 years of age 5 ml solution twice a day.
• Adults are recommended a dose of 5 ml solution three times a day.

Pantoten solution should not be administered in the following cases:

• Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product or fructose intolerance
• Children under 4 years of age without medical advice
• Pregnant or lactating women without prior consultation with a specialist.

Important. Administration must be supervised by a doctor in children or in cases of long-term use.

Adherence to the dosage is essential for the efficacy of the product and to prevent side effects.

Although well tolerated, Pantoten use may be associated with:

• Rare allergic reactions
• Mild gastrointestinal upset (abdominal cramps, nausea, diarrhea)
• Headache or drowsiness

If any side effects occur, use of the product should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

In general, Pantoten may show some interactions, especially with drugs acting on the central nervous system.

• Sedatives and hypnotics (e.g. benzodiazepines, barbiturates)
• Antidepressant drugs
• Antipsychotic drugs
• Anti-seizure medicines

It is advisable to notify your doctor about any other medications taken concomitantly with Pantoten, especially those for psychiatric or neurological conditions.

In case of overdose, symptoms may occur such as:

• Excessive drowsiness
• Muscle hypotonia
• Severe gastrointestinal disturbances.

In such cases urgent medical advice for treatment and monitoring is recommended.

Store the product below 25°C, away from direct light and moisture. The product must be used before the expiry date stated on the package. Keep out of the reach of children.
